During the past week we've discussed a number of great links; on Google+, Twitter, the Daily 'Paper' and so on. Here are a few of my favourites.
- Importance of Hangboard Training : We'll doubtless be talking about this a bit in the upcoming Gymchat on grip strength , but in the meantime, this begs the question - is a Hangboard part of your current routine?
- Ultimeyes now on Mobile Devices : Remember the Ultimeyes app? It's now available on 'phones and tablets . Good stuff.
- Lab-Grown Skin for Research : Human skin grown from stem cells is almost ready for use in cosmetic testing. I suspect it'll also be used in many other areas of medical research fairly quickly.
- The Incredible Potential of Brain Implants : We've been discussing the potential of neuroprosthetics for a while now - for everything from 'fixing a medical problem' to 'enhancement'. Here's a brief summary of the technology currently available.
We also talked about The Three Kinds of Muscles, Improving Bionic Hearing and a whole lot more. Keep up with the World of Health & Fitness in the Straight to the Bar Community on Google+.
